Switching to FireFox
Sunday, June 20 2004
With every release of FireFox, and all the other names it used to go by, I try and switch from IE but always find myself going back.. the last two times I switched back it was not because of IE's awesome rendering capabilities or extremely "stable" feature set, but because I missed the Google Toolbar. Well, I finally found a way I can switch to FireFox for good... the Googlebar project has ported the Google toolbar to Mozilla, and it is actually better than the one for IE.
Now I am just waiting on Blogjet to find someone to create a BlogJet This! extension for FireFox. (Although this alone wont get me to switch back to IE)

Too bad it doesn't seem to work on Xbox pages requiring Passport authentication. I tried it out, and there's nothing I can do to get it to work. Bummer. Back to IE 6.x.

Yeah man, I made that switch a couple months ago and I dig it. I don't like the "download manager" much. But I'm getting used to it.
Had to get my girlfriend in a headlock to get off of IE6 on my box. Incoming spyware and stuff has dropped dramatically. - #3 Scott Allen on 6.24.2004 at 3:18 PM

The "Developer Tools" extension totally rocks.
