I think I am going to take the dive and install Beta 2 on my normal development machine, am I crazy?
- Beta 2 is on the loose – In case you live under a rock and this blog is your only means of any sort of developer news, .NET 2.0 Beta 2 is available.
- Coding4Fun – New section of MSDN with all kinds of cool and interesting articles (via Scott Hanselman)
- MPx is dead – Motorola continues to run it’s smartphones into the ground.
- Internet Explorer Technical Evangelist – I could not think of a worse job: trying to convince developers that IE is good. The first thing I would ask this person is “How do I know that as soon as I switch back to IE you won’t cut development again?”.

Hi James, I blogged a response to your question about the IE evangelist position, http://blogs.msdn.com/jmazner/archive/2005/04/18/409463.aspx. Short answer: nothing I can say is going to convince you, and nothing's certain in the tech world anyway. Best thing I can say is that I'll make sure candidates get to talk with the IE team, look them in the eye, ask them the question you just proposed, and decide what they think of the answer.
